Job Description
The Foster Care Training Coordinator utilizes professional experience and training to develop and maintain a robust professional development plan for Josiah White’s staff and foster parents serving in the foster care program.  Their singular focus on skill development will ensure contractual and accreditation requirements and will also positively impact the services our staff and foster parents provide to the children they serve.  The individual in this position must demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs of the service population.

Qualifications:
  • A Christian with strong convictions who aligns with Josiah White’s mission statement, Statement of Faith, and Code of Conduct
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a closely related Human/Social Services field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of five years of experience in child welfare services
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would limit the ability to perform job functions
