Josiah White's is a Christ centered organization seeking to meet the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of children and their families. Founded in 1850, Josiah White's is the oldest and largest private child care facility in Indiana which offers help to children and families in crisis. Through residential, recovery, home-based services and foster care programs, Josiah White's serves more than 2000 children each year. The residential campus, located south of Wabash, provides care for teens ages 13-18. Students receive emotional and spiritual guidance while being cared for by professional treatment teams. Josiah White's operates an on-campus public high school of the Metropolitan School District of Wabash County, with a teaching staff of 21, and offers a TASK prep program to its residential students. Josiah White's is also a leading foster care agency in the state of Indiana. Josiah White's provides care to children of all ages through 110 licensed foster homes throughout the state.
