Employment Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
Employment experience with persons having developmental or other disabilities is preferred.
Experience running a household would be helpful.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
Good skills in communication, planning, and writing, including grammar and punctuation.
Good skills in mathematics, budgeting and household financial record-keeping.
Must be able to work effectively as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team regarding individual program planning.
Good organizational skills in order to complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to complete required forms and follow oral or written instructions.
Ability to lift and assist people to standing, as needed.
Have the physical ability to respond quickly to the needs of persons served during crises.
Ability to communicate accurately and effectively with persons served and with other staff.
Ability to read and prepare food from a recipe and to cook basic foods without a recipe.
Ability to perform basic household tasks.
Legal/Certification Requirements:
Operator License, plus Endorsement - For- Hire.
Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Automated External Defibrillation and Standard First Aid.
Medication Administration Training.
Other:
Must be at least 18 years old.
