Overview:
The Wabash County YMCA is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our marketing initiatives, enhancing brand awareness, and engaging with our community. The ideal candidate will have experience in various marketing disciplines, including digital and social media marketing, and demonstrate a creative and proactive approach to building our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote YMCA programs, services, and events.
  • Attend events to capture photos and videos for use in marketing materials.
  • Create appealing and relevant media, including flyers, social media posts, email campaigns, and digital displays, aligned with YMCA branding guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain YMCA social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights to optimize future efforts.
  • Support community outreach initiatives to increase visibility and program participation.
  • Assist with internal communications and ensure consistency in messaging.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in digital or social media marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics, and scheduling tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for the YMCA mission and a passion for community engagement.

Job Type: Part-time

  • Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Schedule:

  • 4-5 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
