Position Overview
- You will be a member of the Stamping Department Team.
- In this position you will Set-up and operate automatic stamping presses (32 to 150 tons) to perform a variety of operations with steel including: blanking, forming, piercing, and cut-off processes.
- This is accomplished using various sizes of coil band steel and progressive dies to produce work-in-process and finished parts.
- Work schedule is 5 days/week plus occasional overtime.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes preferred.
- Proficiency in operating stamping presses and related machinery desired but willing to train.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with blueprint reading and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers desired but willing to train.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment desired but willing to train.
