Responsibilities include:
Knowledge application of equipment operation to troubleshoot and improve foundry equipment
Enhancing operations through equipment review, upgrade, and implementation
Estimating project details and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions
Coordinating with vendors in purchase and the evaluation of products according to quality standards and specifications
Facilitation of equipment layout, fabrication, and installation prints
A four-year engineering degree is required. Experience with metallurgy or foundry operations is also needed.
Ford Meter Box is a leader in the manufacturing of waterworks distribution components. We operate a captive, greensand foundry and have facilities in both Indiana and Alabama. Our team is made up of individuals (production, skilled and professional) who enjoy working in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
